Welcome to visit the Department of Statistics, Comilla University, Cumilla, Bangladesh. The department has started its journey on 16th January 2011. It offers Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science degrees. About 235 students are studying at undergraduate level. The department has 13 faculty members who are well known for their academic and research excellence. One of the faculty members has achieved PhD degree and one has completed his MPhil degree. The members of the Statistics department are committed to our priorities of teaching excellence, research & experimental learning and community engagement to provide state-of-the-art teaching to the students and service to the nation.

The study of Statistics helps us to realize and understand different category of data, its analysis and interpretations. The knowledge gained through our Statistics department enables students for leadership positions in both academic andresearch and to meet the competitive employment needs of the high technology establishment. We always try to maintain a friendly and highly cooperative environment for students and researchers to help them to reach their best potential. We have already updated the curriculum at regular interval to include topics of current interest and academic calendar from July 2018.
