Md Mashiur Rahman started his teaching career with the Department of Public Administration at Comilla University in Bangladesh as a Lecturer on 19 April 2009. Now, he is serving as a Professor in the same department since 25 August of 2022. Earlier Mr. Rahman received his Bachelor and Master degree in Public Administration from the University of Chittagong (Bangladesh) in 2002 and 2003 respectively. He also pursued his second master in Leadership and Organisation at Malmo University (Sweden) in 2015. Later he has been awarded doctoral degree in Public Administration at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in June 2019. Mr. Rahman is a contributor of a number of research projects focused on local governance, leadership and organisation, educational leadership, politico-administrative interface etc. that is published in various well reputed national and international journals. Mr. Rahman's principal research interest lies in the area of politics-bureaucracy relations, leadership and organizational studies, local governance issues and problems, election behavior, etc. His teaching interest includes Governance and Leadership, Rural Development and Local Government in Bangladesh, Organizational Behavior, Comparative Public Administration, Public Administration Theories and Problems, etc.
